Multi-Osc OB/OS Overlap NT8 is an advanced NinjaTrader 8 oscillator designed to identify potential market reversal areas by combining three of the most widely used momentum indicators:

Money Flow Index (MFI) + Relative Strength Index (RSI) + Stochastic

Instead of displaying three separate indicators and forcing the trader to compare them manually, Multi-Osc OB/OS Overlap analyzes all three simultaneously and highlights situations where their Overbought or Oversold conditions overlap.

The concept is simple:

One oscillator reaching an extreme may be interesting.

Three independent oscillators reaching corresponding extremes simultaneously can provide significantly stronger technical confirmation.

3 Oscillators Combined Into One

Multi-Osc OB/OS Overlap incorporates three different types of momentum analysis.

MFI – Money Flow Index

MFI incorporates both price and volume when measuring buying and selling pressure.

RSI – Relative Strength Index

RSI evaluates price momentum and helps identify when price movement reaches potentially overextended conditions.

Stochastic

Stochastic evaluates the position of price relative to its recent trading range and can help identify momentum extremes.

Rather than relying on only one calculation, Multi-Osc OB/OS Overlap brings these three perspectives together.

The Power of OB/OS Overlap

The core feature is the Overlap Detection System.

The indicator continuously evaluates the state of:

MFI → RSI → STOCHASTIC

When their Overbought or Oversold areas overlap, the indicator highlights the condition directly on the chart.

OVERSOLD OVERLAP

When all three oscillators simultaneously satisfy their configured Oversold criteria, an OS Overlap is detected.

This can alert the trader to a potential bullish reversal area.

OVERBOUGHT OVERLAP

When all three simultaneously satisfy their Overbought criteria, an OB Overlap is detected.

This can alert the trader to a potential bearish reversal area.

Easy Color-Coded Analysis

The indicator makes oscillator conditions extremely easy to read.

According to the original configuration:

GREEN = Oversold

PINK = Overbought

GREY = Neutral

When all three oscillator conditions overlap, the chart background can also be highlighted using user-defined colors, while chart markers identify the overlap event.

This means traders don’t have to constantly read three separate oscillator panels to find confirmation.

More selective threshold settings can produce fewer signals, while less restrictive settings can increase the frequency of detected overlaps.
